Connecting to STS-BYOD on an Android Device (Google Pixel, Samsung, etc.)

Step 1) Open Wi-Fi settings

Step 2) Tap STS BYOD

Step 3) Set EAP Method to PEAP (default)

Step 4) Set Phase 2 Authentication to MSCHAPV2

Step 5) Set CA Certificate to Use system certificates

Step 6) Set Online Certificate Status to Do not Verify

Step 7) Set Domain to sts.ab.ca

Step 8) Set identity Type in your STS username (without the domain @sts.ab.ca)

Step 9) Leave Antonymous identity blank

Step 10) Type in your Password

Step 11) Tap Advanced

Step 12) Set Privacy to Use Device MAC - The randomize function interferes with devices registration to the network and can cause your account to become locked out.

Step 13) Tab Connect

Step 14) Trust the certificate
