How to disable Avast Network Inspector
What does network Inspector do?
Network Inspector checks the Wi-Fi network to which your mobile device is connected to identify vulnerabilities and security issues such as: Infected router (DNS hijack) Insecure Wi-Fi network (weak or no encryption) Weak password into router's administration.
Why is this a problem?
Scanning a network for vulnerabilities makes your computer seem like a potential threat which will raise an alert, and may result in your device being quarantined (blocked from the network).
How do I disable this feature?
Open Avast and click on: Menu - > Settings -> Protection -> Network Inspector
Uncheck all options
- Scan new network automatically
- Rescan networks automatically
- Test network devices for weak passwords
