Paper type/size mismatch error on printer when printing a PDF on Adobe Acrobat DC

The Acrobat DC print setting: Choose paper source by PDF page size causes to send a different paper size to the printer as what it sees by the Acrobat DC application; even if the intended paper size is set correctly in the Page Setup of the Adobe Acrobat DC print window(see screenshot). The best option is to turn OFF THE "CHOOSE PAPER SOURCE BY PDF PAGESIZE" setting in the print window of Adobe Acrobat DC.
